All Star Week

Tags:

As stated in earlier entries, players enjoy PokerStars marketing codes because of the top notch customer support and fun promos. If you’re new to the various promotions, you should look into the PokerStars All Star Week, scheduled for July 26th to August 1st. The week will feature 35 heads-up matches between Team PokerStars Pro and a group of Challengers that must win a satellite to qualify. Have I piqued your interest enough to make you play with your bingo codes some other time? If the answer is no, read the rest of this article and maybe you’ll change your mind!

PokerStars is proving they’re one of the top Texas Hold'em sites on the Internet by offering a $25,000 prize pool. There will be five different heads-up matches per day during All Star Week. The winner of each match will receive $1,000 and a win for their team. After all 35 matches have taken place, the team with the most wins will receive the $25,000 prize pool.

Daniels Room poker might have fewer participants during All Star Week. There will be a series of five freerolls available to select players, and each one will award 5 or 6 spots on the Challenger team. To play in these freerolls, you must have final tabled a major PokerStars tournament in 2009 or you have to be a Supernova Elite. To make it a little more fun, each Challenger will also receive a ticket to the WCOOP worth $1,050. The WCOOP is likely to be scheduled for September of 2010. If you like clearing bonuses, don’t forget that there is a good chance that they will have a new PokerStars bonus code to kick off the series.

If you cannot play the free satellites, you still have a chance with the Wildcard event. It’s not free, but it’s only $11 to enter. The players that finish in the first three spots will earn their spot as a Challenger and, of course, get that WCOOP ticket.

Once you have finally made it to the Challenger team, you then need to earn the chance to play one of the heads-up matches. You play against your teammates in tournaments featuring a certain game, and if you win, you get to play the PokerStars Team Pro heads-up in the same type of poker during All Star Week. Members of the Challenger team also go up against each other for the MVP award for the week by accumulating as many points as they can. You score one point for competing in a selection event, three points for winning a selection tournament, and then five points for beating one of the Pros during the big week. If you have experience playing on money poker sites, it will be a piece of cake to play as many events as possible to rack up those points.

There will be at least one heads-up match for every type of poker, so All Star Week should appeal to all players that love cards in US poker rooms. And don’t forget that if you didn’t earn your place on the Challenger team this year, there’s always next year. This means you might have to spend less time in Amex Compatible Casinos and more time sitting at poker tables. It will be worth it, though!
